Wow! It's the second to last day of July 2012. The Australian Labor Government is trying to bring in a national disability insurance scheme but with much opposition from state government especially New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. Let's hope this great opportunity will not be lost. Of course the London 2012 Olympics is in it's third day since the Opening Ceremony on Saturday 28 July. I enjoyed the Queen's grand entrance especially accompanied by James Bond on the helicopter. Great acting! Oh and Mr Bean...I suppose he had to have an appearance since he is enjoyed by everyone around the world...trust him to play Chariots of Fire with one finger on the piano! But the highlight for me was the part played by every participating country via a specially designed copper bowl presented to each country and carried by their carrier as they march to finally form the torch. The critics of the global celebration were also very busy though I won't mention any names lol! Beijing News...better not! Oh well I won't even mention the political conflicts happening concurrently to the Olympics. You know...Middle East, Latin America, Africa, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, you name any place I'm certain there is  some form of political agitation. Even in little SAMOA of all places! I'll enjoy the Olympics instead. Have a safe and smooth journey in August 2012.
